Tens of thousands of people in the town of Jiepai, Hengyang City, central China's Hunan Province, thronged the streets on March 23 to celebrate the 600-year-old fire lantern festival and pray for a good harvest and life. This year marks the first time the town has live streamed the festival, attracting nearly 400,000 viewers.
