It's the second day of the Chinese Lunar New Year. It's tradition for married women to use this day to visit their mothers. And people in north China like to have noodles on this day after loading up on dumplings the day before. More people are expected to make short trips during this part of the holiday season. The National Tourism Administration says there were 70 million trips on Friday, up 9-point-4 percent year-on-year. There were four million trips on Friday on the country's railway system, down slightly from previous days.
