After the introduction of Adobe Sensei, the artificial intelligence (AI) platform for the company’s product range last year, the software giant decided to extend the service to a new clientele.
Announced on Monday, Adobe will allow banks to use the AI platform to highlight trends in data and customize certain products for clients.
The company’s banking clients include Citi and US Bank from America, European lenders HSBC, BNP Paribas, Barclays, Royal Bank of Scotland and UBS, and Australia's National Australia Bank, CNBC reported.

"AI and machine-learning can help banks to see in their data what humans can't uncover manually, tapping this to better connect with customers," Christopher Young, director of financial services industry strategy at Adobe told CNBC.
He added that the anomaly detection by Adobe Sensei could catch bugs and analyze why they have occurred. Young told CNBC via phone that banks could also use this platform to arrange the order of their products shown on websites to attract traffic based on clients’ preferences.
Young mentioned that the best use case is for retail banks that have a high volume of anonymous individuals visiting their sites.
"What the (Adobe) Experience Cloud can do with Adobe Sensei is to get an understanding of performance of the site of an anonymous individual and they can start making recommendations on what to show people – even an anonymous profile,” Young told CNBC.
