Mexico earthquake: How it unfolded on social media

The earthquake that struck Mexico City on September 19 has killed at least 230 people and caused major damages across central states.

In a national address in which he declared three days of mourning, President Enrique Pena Nieto said, "We are facing a new national emergency."

Dozens of buildings collapsed across the country, including a number of churches, killing worshippers inside.

And in Mexico City, 22 bodies were pulled from the rubble of a destroyed primary school.
