Canada earned its second Olympic luge medal on Thursday, finishing second in the team relay at the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Games.
The team of singles sliders Alex Gough and Sam Edney and doubles duo Tristan Walker and Justin Snith raced to silver in a time of two minutes 24.872 seconds. Germany won gold in 2:24.517 while Austria took bronze in 2:24.988.
The Canadian luge team silver medalists Walker and Snith said they put lots of pressures for themselves to seek an Olympic medal, and they had an unbelievable ride in the competition. Now, they just enjoy the game and appreciate the applause from their fans.
Earlier on Tuesday, luger Alex Gough won Canada's first-ever Olympic luge medal, grabbing bronze in the women's race.
