US President Donald Trump announced that the US, along with France and Britain, has launched precision strikes against the Syrian government on Friday evening. Several fighter jets were seen taking off from Akrotiri Military Base, Cyprus. Meanwhile, chemical weapon facilities in and around Damascus were hit by air strikes. Syrian television reported that Syrian air defenses have responded to the attack.
