ISIL claimed responsibility for the Manhattan truck attack without giving more evidence on Friday, Reuters reported citing the group's weekly newspaper.
A 29-year-old driver plowed his pickup truck into a popular New York city bike path in lower Manhattan on Tuesday afternoon in what authorities said was a terrorist attack, killing eight and injuring a dozen.
