The shooter was killed during a gunfight with a school resource officer, but the local sheriff's office has yet to determine whether the gunman killed himself or was killed by the safety officer.
Both injured students have been transferred to a local hospital.
The incident came after a deadly shooting took place in a Florida high school last month which left 17 people dead.
