German artist HA Schult created an art installation called “Save the World Hotel”, which is a wooden house with its outer walls dressed in garbage. The aim of the trash hotel is to draw attention to the misuse of resources in the world. /Caixin Photo

The plastic bottles, newspapers and discarded furniture that are being used in the artwork were all collected from beaches by volunteers in Europe. /Caixin Photo
