Fire breaks out in Tianjin hotel, no casualties reported

A fire broke out in a hotel in north China's Tianjin Municipality on Saturday afternoon, according to Chinanews.com citing the local government.
Sanda Hotel, on Jinzhong Street in Dongli district, caught fire at around 4:50 p.m., the report said. Black smoke was first seen from the west side and then flames burst out in the building.
The fire was put out by 7:20 p.m. Some 600 square meters of the building's exterior and 1,200 square meters of its interior were burned, said the local fire department.
The fire is thought to have been started by a guest in the hotel.
No casualties have been reported. The cause of the incident is under investigation.
