President Xi plays traditional Swiss "Talerschwingen" music On his visit to Switzerland, Chinese President Xi Jinping is discussing politics, the economy... and making music. Xi and his Swiss counterpart Doris Leuthard were asked to try their hand at traditional "Talerschwingen" music while in the Swiss capital Bern. The tradition, which comes from the northeastern Swiss canton of Appenzell, involves rolling a coin inside a bowl and usually accompanies yodel singing.
