It’s been long believed by scientists that listening to music can have a positive impact on the development of a child’s brain.
Researchers at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine say that music can reduce stress, pain and blood pressure. It can also help you sleep better and improve your memory and mood.
But a recent study by Northwestern University in the US says that listening to music isn’t enough. Being actively engaged in music by playing an instrument increases the benefits to the brain even more.
However, not all children have access to instruments.
One man in Colombia is trying to change the situation. David Hernandez has invented an instrument called the Ludofono.
