The World Beneath Your Feet: China's highest glass bridge opens to the public

And last but not least, a new spot for visitors to challenge themselves. The country's highest glass walkway has opened to the public in the city of Wanyuan, in southwest China's Sichuan province. The nearly 200-meter-long, and two-and-a-half-meter-wide walkway was built at an altitude of nearly two-thousand meters on Baitai Mountain. It's where locals say the "first beam of light shines on Sichuan." The bridge cost 10 million yuan to build, and connects Chengkou in the municipality of Chongqing to Wanyuan. A total of 80 tourists are allowed to stand on the bridge at any given time.
