Contingents of the Indian army have been rehearsing in New Delhi for a parade on the 68th Republic Day, which falls next Thursday. The day honours the date on which the Constitution of India came into force, on 1950. This year’s celebrations will see the debut show of the National Security Guard (NSG), a special forces unit of 140 commandos who will showcase their skills.
