Xu Liyi, Deputy Party Secretary of Hangzhou, said the city has greatly improved the government services for local residents and businesses, while fielding questions from reporters at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing. Xu also outlined new goals for the next phase of efforts to integrate the city's administration with mobile Internet. Hangzhou, the capital and the most populous city of Zhejiang Province, used to be one of China's ancient metropolises. It is now a leading economic hub in east China.
