South Korean President Moon Jae-in has urged Washington to lower its threshold for talks with the DPRK, a day after Pyongyang expressed willingness for dialogue.
During a meeting with Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong, Moon said Pyongyang should also show willingness to denuclearise. Liu says South Korea should keep building up momentum for peace on the Peninsula, and China will continue to help. A high-level delegation from the DPRK has been visiting Seoul and meeting South Korean officials, including President Moon, after the end of the Winter Games.
