German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to President Xi Jinping for his renewed presidency. He hopes Germany and China have a close and friendly relationship.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel said, the comprehensive strategic partnership has created a stable cooperative framework across a number of fields. She said she would like to deepen the Sino-German cooperation and to promote further development in the Sino-German strategic partnership.
Finland President Sauli Niinisto said the two countries laid out a cooperative plan in various fields during Xi's state visit in April 2017.
