Xi's special envoy to visit Cuba

Song Tao, special envoy of General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee Xi Jinping, will visit Cuba on Sunday.

Song, also head of the International Department of the CPC Central Committee, will inform Cuba of the 19th CPC National Congress and visit the country, the International Department said on Thursday.

Song is also set to lead a CPC delegation to visit Canada.
