Chinese President Xi Jinping along with senior government officials attended the state memorial ceremony in the eastern Chinese city of Nanjing, marking the 80th anniversary of Nanjing Massacre. The ceremony commemorates the hundreds of thousands of Chinese citizens killed in the six weeks following the Japanese invasion of the then Chinese capital on December 13, 1937.
