The Chinese Basketball Association (CBA)'s Xinjiang Flying Tigers have inked a deal with Brazilian center Augusto Lima to replace former NBA player Andray Blatche.
Lima has played in multiple leagues in Spain, Lithuania and Turkey. He helped his team win the Spanish basketball league (ACB) championship in 2016 and had a brief stint with the NBA's Indiana Pacers in the 2017 Summer League.

Before signing to Xinjiang, the 6'10 Brazilian played for Besiktas in Lithuania. He is scheduled to make his debut in Friday's game against Guangdong.
Blatche is in the middle of a mediocre year. In the five games he's played, the former Washington Wizards and Brooklyn Nets center averaged 12.8 points and 6.4 rebounds, but only scored 11 points in his last three matches.
Blatche has also been criticized for having a negative attitude throughout the season.
The Sichuan Blue Whales have also added a foreign player to their roster with the addition of Nigerian-American Ike Diogu. The club signed Diogu to temporarily replace Jamaal Franklin. Diogu was selected 9th overall in the first round of the 2005 NBA Draft by the Golden State Warriors, but played for a total of six NBA teams over the next five seasons. He's has played in the CBA since 2014, with stints in Dongguan, Guangdong and Jiangsu.
