The US and ROK held joint naval drills off the east coast of the Korean Peninsula on Sunday, in an effort to demonstrate their joint operation capabilities to counter DPRK's provocations.
The USS Ronald Reagan, USS Nimitz and USS Theodore Roosevelt joined the four-day exercise on Sunday, marking the first time the ROK Navy had conducted a joint exercise with three US aircraft carriers.
