Nobody likes a punctured tire, and driving under such circumstances could be extremely dangerous. But Chinese driver turned the situation into a challenge and got a new world record out of it too.
Guo Nan, together with three other drivers, took the challenge on Wednesday in east Beijing's Tongzhou District. The four of them deliberately drove through 6,000 steel nails and then slalomed through 50 traffic cones on a 750-meter track.
Three of the drivers made it through but Guo was the best. He completed the race in just 54.82 seconds, becoming the new holder of the Guinness World Record.
