Iraq's Joint Operations command has announced it has arrested more than 250 ISIL militants hiding in tunnels five days after the liberation of the embattled Mosul city.
The announcement comes amid accusations that the Iraqi army unlawfully killed the arrested militants.
Despite the increasing control they now have over Mosul, the challenge for civilians returning to their homes remains.
ISIL suicide bombers have remained hidden after the area was secured. Unexploded ordnance is littered everywhere, CGTN reported.
Most infrastructures have been destroyed, and many civilians have nothing to go back to, it said.
