China has now established supervisory commissions at the provincial, city and county levels, after a pilot reform of its supervisory body that began in December 2016, said Li Jianguo, vice chairman of the Standing Committee of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC), when explaining the draft supervision law to the 13th NPC, the country's top legislature.
