The Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation is kicking off tomorrow. My colleague Tian Wei sat down with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa who took office in February. Ramaphosa said China-Africa cooperation has win-win results and Africa supports multilateralism rather than zero-sum competition.
TIAN WEI CGTN REPORTER "There are several layers of issues. As the co-host of this year's FOCAC. Thinking about, there is the relationship between China and African countries, individually and as a whole. Secondly there is the 2030 United Nations development goals which Africa is certainly a quite important part. And thirdly there is the 2063 Africa plan. How will the goals of these three layers be able to put together and have the best result, a win-win-win for everybody."
TIAN WEI CGTN REPORTER "Some suggest that rules of the jungle has become the dominating concept of some countries, developing countries and emerging economies what has to be done and what does it mean for these countries?"
