In the past five years, the NPC Standing Committee has received a total of 4,778 normative documents submitted for recording and review, and conducted a review of 188 administrative regulations and judicial interpretations, and carried out targeted review of local statutes in key areas, according to the report delivered at the ongoing NPC session on Sunday by Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee.
