Today is the 6th day of the Lunar New Year. People across China are packing up to return to work from their hometowns. China's railway system is expecting a spike in passenger flow. Marking another busy day for Spring Festival travel, it's estimated 10-point-6 million rail trips were made Tuesday.
That's the equivalent of the entire population of the Czech Republic! The number is up by a million compared to that of Monday. The China Railway Corporation says it has dispatched more than 900 additional trains to accommodate the travel rush.
