Making manufacturing smarter, a new approach, and growth engine for China's ancient city of Nanjing. For a third straight year, intelligent manufacturing leaders have gathered here from around the world. Chinese officials at this year's summit once again call for nationwide upgrades to manufacturing.
WANG MENGZHEN NANJING "The theme of this year's summit is 'Empowering the future through intelligent manufacturing'. So what kind of smart solutions are these global exhibitors offering this time? Take a look."
HU CHANGMING, CHIEF EXPERT 14TH INSTITUTE, CHINA ELECTRONICS TECHNOLOGY GROUP CORPORATION "First, we have set up both the 'smart enterprise' and 'smart factory' systems by linking resources through cloud and big data. AI, big data, robot, Internet of things and 5G, some of the buzzwords from these ambitious exhibitors. But experts say China still has a long way to go, especially for small and medium-sized enterprises.
