CPC Leaders' Meeting: Reforms range from state institutions to economic development
[]
We begin here in Beijing, where the Communist Party of China has nominated a host of candidates to head key state organs. The names were put forward at a special leadership meeting, the "Third Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Committee". The positions will be voted on at the upcoming gathering of lawmakers and political advisors in the capital, better known as the "Two Sessions". The meeting also reviewed a structural reform plan for the Party and state institutions, as well as economic and social development. Last month, Party leaders adopted a proposal regarding amending part of China's Constitution.
