Thai boxing enthusiasts from over 50 countries gathered in the ancient Thai capital, Ayutthaya, to pay respects to their martial arts teachers and masters. The annual ceremony, the 14th of its kind, was held to ensure the martial art is being properly preserved for future generations. The sport is known as the 'art of the eight limbs', as boxers are allowed to strike opponents with combinations of legs, knees, elbows and fists.
