Deputies to the 12th NPC submitted 2,366 proposals and 41,353 suggestions in total. Of the proposals submitted by deputies, 514 related to 59 legislative items have been deliberated and adopted, 153 related to 12 legislative items are currently under deliberation, and 37 concerned 22 oversight tasks have already been carried out, according to the report delivered at the ongoing NPC session on Sunday by Zhang Dejiang, chairman of the NPC Standing Committee.
