Real Madrid superstar Cristiano Ronaldo left Sunday night's 7-1 rout of Deportivo La Coruna with blood dripping down his face after scoring his second goal of the match. But before leaving the field, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner checked out his moneymaker in a doctor's smartphone, pictures of which soon made their rounds on social media worldwide.
Ronaldo scored on a header in the 84th minute, putting Madrid up 6-1, but felt the brunt of Fabian Shar's boot near his left eye. Flanked by a doctor and his night finished, Ronaldo left the pitch early, but the much-needed win was already secured.
"He has got a wound and I think he's been given two or three stitches," said Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane was quoted as saying after the game. "He's all right."

Former Atletico Madrid forward Adrian Lopez scored the opener for the visitors, but their euphoria would be short-lived as an avalanche of Madrid goals would soon follow.
An equalizer came as Nacho, who would finish the match with two goals, turned home Marcelo's cut-back about 10 minutes later. Gareth Bale would then add two goals, followed by Luka Modric to increase the Madrid advantage
Ronaldo volleyed in his first goal of 2018 to put his team up 5-1 in the 78th minute, before leaving the pitch less than 10 minutes later after his second goal ended with a head injury.

Nacho completed the rout in the dying minutes, handing supporters in Santiago Bernabeu Stadium the result they desired.
The win ended Madrid's three-game winless streak and moves them back into the top four of La Liga. However, rival Barcelona still remains a distant 16 points ahead in the standings.
