Syria Attack: Trump: US and allies launch strikes against Syrian government

Let's take a quick look back at the operation so far. First, US President Donald Trump announced that the US, along with France and Britain, launched precision strikes against the Syrian government.

An hour later, US Secretary of Defence Jim Mattis said the strike was harder on the Syrian regime than the 2017 strike and targeted Syrian chemical weapons infrastructure. Mattis described it as a one-time shot to send a strong message to Syrian President Bashar al-Assad.
Meanwhile, the UK and France also confirmed their participation in the operation.
