Unreliable Entity List: China to establish list for unreliable foreign entities, measures to be announced soon

China establishes an unreliable entity list. The list is for foreign companies, organizations or individuals who fail to obey market rules, andor harm the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises. The Chinese Commerce Ministry made the announcement Friday afternoon saying it aims to protect Chinese companies' interests, national security and the global multilateral trading system. Specific measures are expected to be announced soon. The ministry says the list is in accordance with Chinese laws and regulations including the Anti-trust Law and Foreign Trade Laws.

Such moves endanger legimate interests of enterprises, harm China's national security and threatens the global industrial and supply chain. This has also inflicted a negative impact on the global economy, enterprises and consumers."
