A key joint of the Longchuanjiang River Bridge of the new Chengdu-Kunming high-speed railway was rotated into position on November 7, marking another breakthrough for China's railway bridge construction. The new line covers a length of more than 900 kilometers. Once completed, the time taken to finish the journey from Chengdu City in southwest China's Sichuan Province to Kunming City in southwest China's Yunnan Province will be shortened to about six hours.
