The 13th annual Yellow River Crossing Challenge came to an end on Sunday in Haidong of northwest China's Qinghai Province.
During the three-day event, a total of 206 professional swimmers from 16 countries, including the United Kingdom, the United States, Iceland, Russia and China, challenged themselves as they braved difficult conditions racing across the second-longest river in China.
Among the 88 athletes who made it to the competition's eight finals, two Russians and six Chinese swimmers claimed the championships.
