The rotting busts of 43 US Presidents have been spotted on a desolate farm in Virginia. Called The President’s Heads, the 20ft-tall, 20,000lb busts have become a peculiar sight on the 400-acre property belonging to American businessman Howard Hankins, Daily Mail reported on Wednesday. /AP Photo

The statues were once an attraction in Presidents’ Park, which was a collaboration between artist David Adickes and landowner Everette 'Haley' Newman. The park in Williamsburg, Virginia closed in 2010, six years after it was opened, after expectations that it would attract thousands of tourists every year were not met. Newman asked Hankins to demolish the statues, which were then valued at 6.5 million US dollars. However, Hankins bought all of them for 50,000 US dollars and planned to launch a new park in 2016. /Facebook Photo

Hankins’s plan failed since he had only received 1,146 US dollars in the past two years, far away from the 500,000 US dollars he needs to repair the damaged busts. /AP Photo
