Chinese FM Wang Yi arrives in Manila for meetings with key regional powers

China's Foreign Minister Wang Yi arrived in the Philippine capital Manila on Saturday for meetings with his counterparts from key regional powers.

The foreign ministers of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) have endorsed the framework for a Code of Conduct in the South China Sea.

The framework is expected to be adopted at an ASEAN-China meeting on Sunday. Negotiations for the deal have taken 15 years.
