A team of 30 students from the University of Munich won the SpaceX Hyperloop Pod competition on Sunday, with their prototype pod reaching a speed of 324 kilometers per hour. They defeated MIT and Tokyo’s Keio University. The Hyperloop high-speed transport system was popularized by Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla and SpaceX.
