A 6.2-magnitude earthquake hit the southern state of Oaxaca in Mexico hours after a 5.8-magnitude quake jolted southwest of Paredon in the country on Saturday, the US Geological Survey (USGS) reported.
Seismic alarms sounded in Mexico City as slight tremors were felt.
A 7.1-magnitude quake struck central Mexico on Tuesday, leaving many buildings collapsed in the capital city and nearly 300 people dead nationwide.
