The head of World Trade Organization warned against rising trade tensions after the US move. Roberto Azevedo said disrupting trade would jeopardize the global economy while its recovery is still fragile.
Meanwhile, the former WTO Director-General labeled America the main threat to international trade. He said the US is the only major economy that has a protectionist agenda.
Chile's finance minister said the current US-China trade dispute is not good for the global economy. He said Chile will have to work hard amid the economic uncertainty.
