On Monday, a two-year-old boy jumped off a scooter on which he was carried and tried to dart across a busy road on his own in Tongren City, southwest China’s Guizhou Province. As a black car sped towards the toddler, a police officer rushed to the scene and picked him up in the nick of time, surveillance camera footage shows. According to the scooter driver, the boy saw his mother on the other side of the road and jumped off. The police officer’s reaction has been highly acclaimed online.
