Russian Plane Crash: Background of Antonov AN-148 jet

The first flight of an Antonov An-148 regional jet was in 2004. The plane has a range of about two thousand kilometers and can carry up to 85 passengers.
An earlier crash involving the same model of plane took place during a test flight in 2011 killing six crew members before a scheduled delivery to the Myanmar Air Force.
