At least 60 people, including civilians, were killed and dozens injured in several airstrikes that hit a hotel north of the Yemeni capital of Sanaa on Wednesday morning, AP reported citing local officials.
The hotel is located in the Bait al-Edhari area of Arhab district north of Sanaa, which is home to the country's anti-government Houthi rebels.
It is reported that another airstrike hit a checkpoint manned by the Houthis, a few kilometers from the hotel.
The Houthis, who control Sanaa and northern Yemen, are fighting the internationally-recognized government backed by Saudi Arabia and its allies in the country's civil war.
