We start here in China, where the state news agency Xinhua reports that the Communist Party of China Central Committee has proposed the removal from the national Constitution of the two-term limit on the president and vice-president.

The committee is also proposing the inclusion in the Constitution of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, and the inclusion of an oversight commission as a new state organ.
