When found by the WFFT, he had been bitten and was covered in scars. After giving him a special milk formula, he was rushed to the local Wildlife hospital. To help him adjust to life on his own, the staff at WFFT gave him a stuffed toy to act as his mother. /VCG photo

According to the WFFT, food hunting and the pet trade has caused a decline in the number of langurs. The expansion of agricultural practices, such as growing plants and animals for human consumption, and urbanisation throughout the langurs habitat has also affected their numbers. /VCG photo
