Several of the animals at Brookfield Zoo near Chicago enjoyed Halloween treats on Friday. They included the western lowland gorillas; Hani, one of the sloth bears; the Rodrigues fruit bats; a carpet python; and the pygmy hippos. Animal care staff carved some of the pumpkins and filled them with additional food items. Animals will be receiving pumpkins over the next two weekends during Brookfield Zoo's Boo! at the Zoo Halloween celebration.
