US President Donald Trump’s homeland security advisor, Tom Bossert, has resigned at the request of new national security advisor John Bolton, an administration official said on Tuesday, marking the latest departure from the White House of a senior advisor.
Other senior officials who have either resigned or been fired in the past few months include Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster, National Economic Council Director Gary Cohn, Communications Director Hope Hicks, among others.
