The Foreign Ministers of South Korea and Canada will hold talks in Seoul this week, focusing on the security situation of the Korean Peninsula. Canada holds the chair of the G-7 group this year and South Korea is calling for it to help build peace in Northeast Asia. Meanwhile, a newspaper in Japan has reported that Kim Jong Un is considering the possibility of a summit with Japan in early June, adding that the DPRK wants financial aid from Japan if relations normalize.
