To west Germany now, where the government says the man who carried out Saturday's van attack acted alone, and appears to have had mental health problems. Officials say there is no evidence of any link to Islamist militants and the suspect was not a refugee. Two people were killed and about 20 injured when a van ploughed into a crowd in the city of Muenster. The driver also died after shooting himself. Local media say he was a 48-year-old German citizen. Investigations are still underway.
